Yeah I admit that was kind of a letdown, but I as I said I think it adds to the suspense. I don't know if I talk for everyone but if the secret is revealed too soon it could spoil the story for me.

It will be revealed eventualy, BUT... if the topic is avoided for the entire mini-arc, and in the very last chapter on the very last panel Kishi decides to make Sasuke say: "Okay Sarada, your mother is-" and the story ends without revealing anything, THEN I'll be pissed.

Also I find it weird that suddenly there's someone stronger than Kaguya and he's the one who created the white Zetsu. I guess they needed a new challenge for Naruto because is freaking Chuck Norris right now

Hmmm what if (I just thought about this) the Sharingan guy is actually one of Kaguya's child/decendent? I'm thinking about Ashura Otsutsuki. Welp, that'll make sense if anyone can surpass Kaguya

Maybe Shin is a clan member that was spared by Itachi in order to recreate the Uchiha Clan.

Or something like that. Btw, you noticed that Sasuke's Rinnegan is missing the tomoe? And that Naruto's abilities have declined and withered because of the years of peace? Sounds like Kishi's strategy for depowering them a little, you know, since they were so OP by the end of the original series.

EDIT: Okay I processed it, now about the chapter.

It is hands down my favorite one so far. The uncensorship, the scientific talk, the grown-up feel.
Now that I think about it, maybe Suigetsu scewed up something. Maybe that was Sasuke's hair on Karin's desk, you know how obsessive she is.
Or maybe Sasuke's DNA has merged with Karin's after so many Chakra sucking, who knows?

I still believe that Sakura is the mom, and until either Sasuke or Sakura say otherwise I will still believe it.

The more we're getting info the more I think you theory was right About Sasuke sucking too much of Karin's chakra resulting in him having some of Karin's DNA

And we're back with the flashbacks. But to be honest, I think Kishi just felt a little nostalgic, but hopefully he won't overdo the flashbacks in future chapters.

So that's why we didn't saw the tomoe in Sasuke's Rinnegan. Nice.

I still sustain that Sakura is the mom. I'm more convinced now that Sakura confirmed both she and Sasuke had sex.

What..no she was obviously talking about the forehead poke sasuke gave to her in chapter 699. If her poking Sarada's head wasn't a give away, she also touches her forehead as she remembers it. She also specifically said she wasn't talking about sex.
