I thought that SSF1 was the best Super Smash Bros. Melee-themed flash game ever :!: But it could have been better :aha: That's why I was wondering if one or more of us could make a remake of Super Smash Flash 1 to make it more SSBM-like :headbang: If this remake was made it could help us to better appreciate SSBM and we could have something to play while we wait for Super Smash Flash 2 to come out other then its demos (By the way the latest demo is an awesome time consumer when your waiting for a Youtube video to load) ;) We could even play it while we wait for Super Smash Bros. 4 to come out :!: Below is a list of some improvements that could be added to a remake of Super Smash Flash 1.
1. Updated Graphics
2. More Nintendo-Only Characters (None of this Mr. Incredible Crap but 3rd-Party Characters are okay)
3. More Stages (Stages were actual things happen like in Norfair or Pokemon Stadium 2)
4. More SSBM Modes
5. More Items
6. Controls equivalent to that of SSBM
7. "Real" Smashes (Remove ones like Samus's Machine Gun, Kirby's Tag Out etc.)
8. No Glitches

trying remake SSF would be stupid and a waste of time; Number two is in production for a reason

Ray has a point.
Remaking this would be a waste of your time, because the second one is in developement, and Expansions will be in the second.
SSF was fun, I admit it, but SSF2's engine makes SSF look like crap. "Nuff Said".
If you were to make this, I hope your not one of those planners who just plan the games layout and stuff without putting real time and effort into your work, therefore wasting your time.

;) demo v0.7 will be out in about 3 weeks or less (maybe),and it is going to be "content heavy” which will keep gamers playing for hours lol, theres no need for a ssf "remake"

A remake would be nice, but it would be a waste, besides I looking forward to the sequel

it's not being stabbed in the heart if you're a pale skinny retard and no one wants you
also dont mistake the slightest bit of attention as a crush
get over yourself

A remake is usually done when there is already a sequel or two.

Maybe you people are right but mostly Ray Fletcher for saying "Number two is in production for a reason". That makes me think that there is no need for a remake since SSF2 is like a reboot since it makes you feel like you're really playing a SSBM game.

Then why make the topic if this is obvious?

SSF1 was supposed to be like Melee, and SSF2 was supposed to be like Brawl. There's no "reboot" because in the actual SSB series, everything got "better" in the next game, like what will happen in the SSF series.

But brawl was worse than melee.

SSF was fun at first for most ppl because they thought it played like melee
A remake in my opinion would be ok i guess but starting the engine from scratch would be a waste

Please get out.

Anyway, there are no plans for a SSF1 remake :/
