Alright I never really had problems with Beneton
but I would like to be able to advertise a new animator without problems
in my topic so I can get to work on making a tutorial for it

So anyone who animates post your top 1-3 animating programs you use
(I might have to start a poll if they're too many)

No not for me for YOU... ok maybe this will help me too :P
There has been a couple topics asking about GIFs aka animations
And I though would make a topic trying to help anyone who had Questions or help.

I myself have Animated for awhile and this is what I do

Programs: show
*Programs
Beneton removed; Was known to cause viruses
* http://www.gimp.org
* http://www.jhepple.com/gif_animator.htm

Now that you got a free animator animate away

Tutorial for beginners on shaky GIFS: show
*Tutorial for beginners (For shaky GIFS)

If you have any advise or tips please feel free to help

I recommend Fireworks over Beneton, that's how I do all my amazing animations, Beneton cant change the flow rate or physics of the animation.

*Edited* don't quote large posts

Looks good as a tutorial, but in my opinion, Microsoft GIF animator SUCKS.

Try ArtCursors, by Ava-soft. It only has a 30 day trial before you need to pay 20 bucks, but you can make icons, cursors, AND GIFs, plus a million things I've never heard of XD

Um... link... -googles-
