Official Wii U Adapter with Mac (OS Sierra) not recognized

Official Wii U Adapter with Mac (OS Sierra) not recognized

So I've looked around the forums and reddit and tried a few drivers. It seems you can use the Mayflash Adapter for OSX and the Wii U adapter with Windows, but not the Wii U adapter with a mac (as far as I can tell). If anyone has a way to connect my controller, help is greatly appreciated.

Wii U adapters are not made for use with computers, so you'd need to use a third party driver.

Yeah, I gathered as much, but which ones specifically should I be using?
