If you didn't know, I'm a big Mecha fan, and I've been one since I first saw Gundam.

Mecha anime is probably one of the most lesser known kinds of anime out there (Mostly because America doesn't like Giant Robots from Japan. Seriously America, what's your problem, Transformers is like the same thing)

However, despite that, it's probably one of the best genres. From the originals such as Gundam, GaoGaiGar (the original GAR anime), Getter Robo, and Ideon. To the newer stuff like Demonbane, Godannar, and Gurren Lagaan

Admit you gaiz, you liek it don't you?

That simply means my sig decided to be Germany, and the area below it just happen to be Poland.

Gundam's anti-war and whiny kid pilot coupled with Eva and their constant mindscrewing mostly had me tuned out of Mecha anime.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Code Geass however, brought me back into the fold. FMP is okay, but I prefer Fumoffu to the other seasons.

If you think America hates Mecha anime, you should try watching Megas XLR.

I liked that show, it was pretty good for American Mecha.

What I meant is, the people of America don't like Giant Robots because they think they're too "Japanese"

I don't know, it's basically the same thing.

I mean the original Power Rangers took scenes from Japanese TV shows, and people didn't care
