Yep, my wording was crappy, sorry.  What I meant what I'd like to be ABLE to change sidestepping from shield down to shield up.  I guess this is the official thread for keyboard setups. If not tell me. I often see keyboard setups and think that they're scrunched or seem otherwise ergonomically incorrect and wonder why. This set up is designed so that my hands hardly have to move when playing and are in a comfortable resting state. This is their natural resting state.
