First and foremost I'd like to apologise for not releasing this any sooner. It took quite sometime to actually get a collective agreement on this.
A lot of talk had gone around when the ECSD tech went viral. The BR and TO'ers Union felt that it would be best to update our current stalling clause to ensure everything that can be considered stalling was acknowledged. We hope TOs and players alike can find this useful and use it to enhance and balance their competitive SSF2 experience.
Without further ado, here is the clause:
Stalling clause: Stalling is banned and will result in the forfeiture of the current game being played. Stalling is defined as intentionally delaying the game as to make it unplayable. This includes: • Excessively going under and around a stage for purposes other than recovery or avoiding an invincible opponent • Using infinites to deal more than 200% damage in one combo/chaingrab, or continuing an infinite combo/chaingrab past 300% • Using invincibility/intangibility glitches, including but not limited to Edge Cancelled Spot Dodges, to remain invincible/intangible indefinitely • Using freeze glitches to freeze you or your opponent's character. This includes, but is not limited to Donkey Kong's cargo throw freeze glitch.
