I haven't really heard of a specific term/name for us SSF2 players...

What do you guys think? Any good names you have in your mind?
Also, what are other community terms for our community, characters, and game we play?

In all seriousness, I've always used "MGers" or "the guys at MG" myself, but that's not really specific enough for general use. Even most of the people I use that with don't have a f*** clue what I'm talking about.

Just come up with some name that's vaguely Japanese so no one will think it sounds scrubby, but that is obscure or meaningless enough that no one will know what it is.

Well, one nickname I've seen for us pretty often is "pathetic weeaboos".

Not to accentuate the negative again, but we're really not talked about a lot on the outside, so all I ever see is that occasional gut reaction. I haven't seen any conversations about the game long or meaningful enough to provide us with something even close to a potential community name.

If there's anyone else who goes to any other community that talks about us, please correct me.

That reminds me, the school I go to is called Middleton Grange, so whenever I talk to my friends about Mcleodgaming and use the initials "MG", they always think I'm going on about our school. Which is weird since "update" and "characters" aren't exactly school terms.
On the other side of things, whenever I say "MGS" and mean the school they always think I'm talking about Metal Gear Solid.
It's an interesting time.
