And if nobody was dependent on someone else then we would all be selfish, ignorant a** holes. I'm asking to depend on one person, for one time.

Nobody here is going to draw up a tut for creating everything in ssf2. Sorry.

Honestly. You think you can learn how to single handedly make an "awesome remake" of a game that is not even finished yet, in five minutes?

Your the one being selfish here, you expect someone to lend their time and skills to you so "You" can make an "Awesome" remake. If nobody was dependent then yes society would suffer but that does NOT make it right for you to go around telling everyone to help you for your own little reasons. If you want something done, do something about it don't just sit around commanding everyone.

If I recall, it took Cleod the Omnipotent several months to make the original SSF, which was far from his first Flash project, yet you expect to be able to remake a game which is currently in beta stages in high-definition with no previous knowledge or experience regarding Flash.

Okay.

I'm asking you how would I go about making it. It couldn't hurt trying to teach me a thing or two. Worst case: you waste 5 minuets teaching me this and I never use it. Best case: I make an awesome remake of Super Smash Flash and the whole community is happy.

It's not that nobody wants to help you, it's that the process of doing this is so complex that it's simply impossible to provide a tutorial. You need to learn a thing or two about Flash yourself--there are plenty of tutorials around the internet. Making a so-called "better" version of Super Smash Flash 2 would mean having to recreate the entire game from scratch, and improving the sprites (or simply re-making all of them yourself). You talk about this like you plan to do all of this on your own, which is crazy-talk. SSF2 consists of a wealth of developers, yet it has still taken a few years simply to reach this point.

I think the issue you seem to have is you think you can just take the game and edit it yourself, which you can't. You have to start from the very beginning, and I'm guessing you have a partial lack of knowledge about Flash. SSF2 is a very large, complex game, and it is not the result of one person designing something in Flash for the first time; it's the result of a handful of developers, artists, and composers who've had much experience in all fields, working together. We cannot help you on this. Things are much more complicated than you presume them to be.

I think that the above post sums this up. There's nothing left to be discussed.

Sorry, that was the wrong picture. I'm trying to make some better sprites for the Original SSF. So I just need to learn how to sprite, not make a whole new game.

I don't think you understand the time and dedication it takes to sprite, let alone remake an entire game.
You're not going to suddenly become an artistic god overnight. Start slow.

But you said you wanted to remake the game in HD, yes? That's going to take a lot more than just spriting. And anyways, if you want to learn how to Sprite, there are some tutorials in the Spriter's Corner, not to mention tons of others around the internet, so this is obviously not the place to be asking for that kind of stuff.

You seriously just missed the entire point of my post. What you're asking for here is impossible--even if your only goal is to sprite, there are tons of tutorials out there like I said, so you should take ambitions under your own hands and learn yourself. Nobody's going to show you how to "improve" a Mario sprite--the idea is to learn the gist of spriting and then put what you've learned into action. Even if we showed you how to sprite something so specific every time you asked, you won't learn anything because you're basing what you've learned on the sprite itself, not from your skills. So, as I said, it's not that nobody wants to help you, because if you would remain rational with the situation I'm sure we'd be more than willing to help, but you're not; you're asking us to help you out with something that we can't help you with. It's as simple as that.

Not really. Its gonna be like "Hey Cleod! Do you still have that existing open file of super smash flash? Well here is some sprites i made. I want you to replace them with the old sprites and call it a new Super smash flash!" Ehem... Lemme put it in a much easier way with just one picture:

I was questioning this myself... Anywho, it's NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. SSF2 is probably the best your going to get so deal with it. :lock:
