Yeah, mainly when you are banned for "being a weaboo" or for reporting too much, haha.

I believe you can set it so you receive an email every time you get a PM.

I was unaware, I have never used the feature myself.

It is like that: | | | | Quote: From: [email protected]To: *Username* Hello *Username*, You have received a new private message from "*Sender's Username*" to your account on "McLeodGaming" with the following subject: *Subject* You can view your new message by clicking on the following link: http://forums.mcleodgaming.com/ucp.php?i=pm&folder=inboxYou have requested that you be notified on this event, remember that you can always choose not to be notified of new messages by changing the appropriate setting in your profile. -- Thanks, The Management | | | | |
It is spammy and not very useful, but I kept it as is because it isn't on an account I use too much. Now, think you have to wait for a week, sometimes a month, to know why you were banned (when you can't figure it out). You can't even explain yourself (assuming you are right). And it seems like people can't see if you are banned. You know, someone might PM you (not a big deal but still).

It's quite easy to follow the rules in the first place, but yes it seems that if I were to ever get banned that I would want to know why. So I guess I support.

Yeah, how will we know what we got banned for, if we can't access our PM's.
I'm all for this.

Mods should be placing the ban info in the message you get when you try to log in. That's an easy thing to slack with so I'll remind them. I can't automate the ban emails though, sorry. But just try not to get banned any you won't need to worry about this.
