The light on his belly seems too low and his belly button too (but I assume it's like that because of where his belly is facing) and his left calf is a little flat

It's because his mouth is completely open yet you can only see the top row of teeth, and not the bottom. Probably just a stylistic choice.

It looks like the red was the original skeleton, and was edited to be the final head when the anatomy was finished.

Tough to say since I usually don't keep track of time when I draw. I'd say abooooooooout 2 hours I think? Pretty much everything of the original outline got revamped throughout the process, but that's what sketching is for I guess heh

It looks good! I like the style. I feel like his skin tone blends in a bit with his mouth, though (especially on the smaller scale). Along with that, I feel like there are 2 pixels on his left (our right) side of his head that could be changed to the darker outline color you were using on the face/skin, as they make the curve look a tad rough/jagged.
