Has Marth's uair been always this strong in the official Smash games? It can kill a lightweight at something like 80% when tipped.

No, the tipper version is just really strong here. It has more hitstun than its untipped counterpart so it is harder to combo off of once you get out of the low percents. At the low percents tipper uair is crazy good for combos, but after that you want to be closer to land the sourspot.

It's more like uthrow>utilt>utilt>utilt>utilt>utilt>util>ect for meh.

Or, on some characters

Uthrow>U-tilt>Uthrow>U-Tilt>U-air>U-air>N-air or something along those lines. I like ending my aerial combos with N-air if I can

Even ignoring chaingrabs and FD/3DS, Marth's punish game on Fox is RIDICULOUS. I prefer having platforms because then I can get regrabs and the like, but the MU looks to be even or in Marth's favour by a bit (+1).

Yeah, Marth is my hard Fox counter, but I also use Marth against characters that would outrange Peach, like Ichigo, Sora, Link, etc.

Against anyone heavy Marth has a really good combo game on, but he usually needs platz to get the most out of his combos. Man I can't wait to play online :D

I can hardly ever get the front or down hitboxes, I'm fairly consistent at getting the back hitbox though (and the back hitbox reaches so far :D)

HAHAHA I'm glad I actually know what that means XD

Is Marth's fthrow chaingrab a thing? Can it be Di'd out of? This is pretty important for the Marth ditto lol.

Not sure if this works on humans but Marth's back throw could chain if you dash inbetween.

It doesn't work. You can jump out before the next grab. Maybe you can go for a Bthrow to mix-up DI when doing chain-Fthrow.

And if you jump-cancel grab with Marth, he'll be able to chain-Fthrow even when the opponent is like at 80%. And at that point, you can do Fthrow > FSmash. #DIorDie
