I think the forums (or at least the SSF2 section) should be closed down when the demo is posted.
Or maybe there could be a download limit, so everyone doesn't download it at once OR the exact date could be a surprise, so noobs won't be like:

"Demo in 1 hour."
"Hype hyep hyp."
"Lol the nekst demo so cool."

Last time we could tell them to stop, relax and get out to make the demo's upload faster/the forum stop crashing, but I won't be around and I'm afraid most of the other guys won't either.

You know that is not what I meant. Of course they will be able to discuss, we just do not want the site to crash again, or to read through 20+ pages of spam (and you know all this traffic slows down the demo's upload). I know the mods are always alert, but again they do not delete such posts.

A couple new topics called
SSF2 DEMO .8 (Stage, Characters, Items, Spoilers)
Then temp lock all the other topics, when the hypes over delete the new topic and unlock the rest.
