You could just complete a level that has a gold flower and not get hurt, then go to 1-4. I might not be correct though, since I haven't played it yet lol.

i just got the game yesterday beat it today and all i can say is what the f*** Nintendo always make some good mario moments but new super mario bros 2 kinda felt meh especially the ending i mean i had fun but at the same time i felt like a huge chunk was just missing in the game

Yeah i just found that part out myself recently.
Oh, a decent trick to get Gold Flowers (reserve), end a level with the timer at a specific mark, depending on the world to get the classic level clear finish (fireworks), and unlock a rainbow stage to collect more coins (can play once per level clear, then you have to finish a stage with fireworks finish again to reopen). The prerequisite is different for each world though:
Timer ends in
11 for World 1
22 for World 2
33 for World 3
44 for World 4
55 for World 5
66 for World 6
77 for World Mushroom
88 for World Flower
99 for World Star
Not all of these rainbow stages have gold flowers in them though.

I love the supes mario bros series it was the first game I played remember it all.Without the wii shop channle I would of never got it.And I really like the cover's for all the games.

That's just a rumor with literally no backing other than a post being put up by a Nintendo site saying "mario in 1080p!!" and then promptly taken down. They never said it wouldn't run in full HD.

I honestly couldn't care less if it runs in 1080p... While graphics are nice, what matters is the gameplay. I'm pretty sure it will run in HD, but I don't understand all the fuss about it.
