Hey guys, I hope you are all enjoying the holiday and I just wanted to put you on date with some news.

Even through we all knew this would happen, The Last: Naruto the Movie is already a huge comercial success, grossing over 1.47 billion Yen on it's premiere on Japan!!

The movie's success was such, that Kishimoto is already getting ready for a sequel that will debut just 8 months after the latest one! Guess who's the main character.

Like the previous film, the Last will be brought to America, set to debut in over 20 American theaters on February 20 and, unlike Road to Ninja, it will be released with it's original Japanesse audio with English subtitles.

Returning to the anime, looks like my previous assumption was wrong. Now that the manga is over, instead of focusing only on cannon material the Shippuden anime will be extended as much as it can. Next week will be the start of yet another filler focusing only on the Chunnin exams that Naruto's friends took when he was training with Jiraiya during the time-skip.

Now for the last new, there is the final Storm videogame being developed by CyberConnect2, it will debut on Summer 2015 and it will catch up from what was left of Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 all the way until Naruto and Sasuke's final battle on the Valley of the end.

Now that the The Last movie was a success, the Naruto Project will continue with it's next stage: "The Naruto Live Action Stage Musical"!!!

The musical will make it’s Japanesse premiere on March 21, 2015 with performances at various theaters in the country until May 10th and will make its way to other regions as well. It will debut on the Venetian Theatre in China from May 22 to 24, the Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre from May 30 to 31, and at Singapore’s Resort World Theater on June 6 and 7.

It will cover all of Part 1 (Pre-Shippuden) of the Naruto story.

I don't like Boruto at all. He's a complete Naruto 2.0

Have you seen The Last yet?

It's kinda unfair to judge him yet, at least wait until this movie, or part 3.

But yeah he's Naruto 2.0, that's very much the point. I'm curious to see him in this movie and part 3 though.

Yeah you're right... I shouldn't judge just yet. It's just.. i don't like his design at all. Kishimoto could've done better. He's doing an Akira Toriyama all over again (Goku, Goten, Goku jr, etc idk)

Personality and appearance-wise, yeah, he looks like "Naruto The Sequel", but other than that, he may be a completely different character that could have room to grow and be completely differentiable from Naruto.

He doesn't have any Tailed Beast.

His fighting style seems to involve an over-sized spanner.


He may or may not have a Byakugan waiting to awake. etc, etc...

New and young characters always have room to grow.

They seriously made us wait 8 months after that cliff hanger.

I read the manga and it still pissed me off.

But that filler objectively, was pretty decent. I liked how it wrapped up. Neji played a vital role in saving Gaara and Fuu, and that is the reason he was promoted from genin to jonin. Because of Gaara's praise. It's things like this that make filler interesting, things that tie in to canon stuff.
