It is energy efficient enough to store energy derived during the day.

It looks pretty cool IMO, who knows, we may get to the stage where there'll be a flight that can't be stuffed landing

Yes and from the looks of it, it may need less energy due to the enormous wingspan compared to the size of the gondolas.

It does seem that this will need quite some time for refinement before it can be applied at a larger scale.
