Not saying anything specific about Zelda, but this kind of tier whoring kills meta growth. Do we remember how low jiggs was in the preliminary melee tier lists? It makes me glad when there's dedicated character commitment, that just means more exploration.

Melee's a far more deep game than 4 though

if you're gonna main Jiggs, Dorf, Zelda, Dedede, etc you shouldn't be too surprised when you're getting knocked out often.

i would suggest at least picking up a secondary and not solo maining them, but when even HBox gives up on Jiggs, something really has to be up. people are grinding out these characters and still nothing is happening

i've played and beat one of the best Palutena players, she's still bad lol

there are definitely unexplored characters but i highly doubt any of those in the very bottom tier are going to make any sort of ripples in the meta anytime soon

Yea. I'm not saying there is a necessity explore any of the meta for the bottom of the barrel characters, but I just kind of cringe at the over-reliance of tier lists in general. I love tier lists a lot and the amount of work that goes into them, but I hate when people use it as a crutch.

i agree that picking based on a tier list is a pretty bad idea; the only exceptions i can really think of off the top of my head are Melee (but even so, you're pretty much fine as long as you're not anyone from Game and Watch and below) and to an extent Brawl (but more or less because of Meta Knight/Icies).

that said, imo if you're playing to compete, you should at least have a secondary. if you main someone in G or H, i'd have a secondary from E or above. F and above could work as a solo main but it'd be hella tough

Anyway, I think Charizard should not be at the bottom of the tier list.

I believe he should be at the end of low tier a little behind D3, but the thing is the character has no results or anyone besides SilentDoom, and UtahCharizard doing anything with him. Either way the list is a joke.
