Something completely random, Yoshi's down b can get stuck on sky sanctuary's platforms, and it also keeps the hitboxes there unless you fall off the platform (and finish the down b) or get hit.

Only ones I can think of are sideb, downb, grab and maybe dair that have a decent amount of lag.

Other than that, Yoshi's moves are pretty quick.

It is, but it lasts too long for me.

ok so after playing a bunch of yoshi online here are my thoughts

In general, Yoshi is a character that's going to get a huge boost offline compared to online. His current tier placement is too low for offline and too high for online (which might have been intentional). That being said, here are some changes I recommend:

    uair: slightly more kb growth
    usmash: slightly more kb growth, hitbox properly covers inside his body, 1-3 frames more endlag
    egg roll: make it actually egg roll (current one feels very off and isn't especially useful outside of looking cool)
    fix down b bugs

Yoshi will still be subpar online but I think that's ok.

Only other thing would be that it'd be nice to have an up button option that doesn't jump even if you have tap jump on. It can be done with external software but it'd be pretty nice to have in-game so you could use eggs while preserving DJ without being frame perfect.

You mean a delayed jump, or a time based UpSpecial where if you use UpB within 3 frames of your DJ it will return your DJ?

I think Uair has enough KnockBack IMO, you can just follow DI and Uair about 3 times almost anyone at medium percents using DJ to get them offscreen off the top. High percents kill already
Usmash already has good kill power. IMO a different sprite would be better, the current one looks like Yoshi is sleeping with both eyes open. Maybe have yoshi stand a little taller and use his tail to prop himself up.
Faster egg roll? Jumping during egg roll would be dope :P

-Yoshi's grab needs tweaking across the board.
Make Fthrow chain grab bad and no DI heavy/FF characters all the way to 60%
Bthrow do the same as Neutral Special, poop an egg. The victim gains super armor during the entire "egg" time and when the egg breaks, they will be on the floor and able to perform a get-up attack after about 10 frames.
Uthrow have low KBGrowth and mediocre KB for easy combos at low-medium%
Dthrow idk. less extreme DI angles.

Neither, I mean a button you can bind in controls that will let you press up without jumping even if you tap jump.

You'd still be able to do this. It'd just make it a bit more usable for getting kills at higher percents. I think you are overestimating how well it actually kills when you're not at the top of the screen.

We already discussed this in slack but it really doesn't if it's actually DI'd properly. Go in training and DI in front of Yoshi and watch how long it takes to actually kill.

Throws could possibly use a buff but I dislike that fthrow change and the bthrow one is just silly

Yeah, the throw ideas were just creative remarks I made. And now that I think about it, the Bthrow one would be broken. Intangible would be the egg state should be.
Yoshi's grab game is useless right now other than hard reads on Floaties at very high percents (dthrow). Egg Lay is superior to grab in all areas.
