Best scores ever for fourth and eighth graders, indeed.

by the way, this is mostly public schools which are filled with retards who drop out by the end of sophomore year of high school.

That and elementary education in America is severely lacking. If they go to a private high school they'll actually learn how to think critically and write well, but in a public high school the chances are very slim.

The problem is the money is going to the schools, but is being spent making the school look nice instead of using the funds to help prepare them for college.

For f***'s sake, they built a new public high school the town over and it has two f*** waterslides at the pool.

Not to mention how f*** unionized the schools are. The s*** teachers don't get fired, the good teachers don't get incentives, and the entire teaching community can demand raises for no good reason at all. Teachers in Nevada get payed around 70k/year, not including benefits, and they don't even work 12 months.
Reminds me of when that teachers union was saying that the budget cuts were hurting their kid's education -- what they didn't tell you was that it was only the teachers' pay getting cut. How does a small cut in pay affect their ability to teach? it's not like they put their all into it normally.

We have... what, one good teacher? And that's my math teacher. I don't get my English teacher, however. He apparently likes to raise the grades of the grades that are already the best.

It's called a curve- goes to everyone.
Take the highest grade in every class- average it. Say it averages to 92. everyone gets plus 8 points.
Normally done in AP classes for tests.

He did it differently, actually. He took the top 4 grades and increased their grades by 20 points. Took the next 4 and gave them 15 points. Next 4 got 10 points, and the last 4 got 5 points.

This is why private schools are better IMO.

hahahahaha

HW f*** your grade over so much. I, myself, never do it, and that's why my grades are low.

Homework isn't a grade at my school. It's only ever assigned in maths classes, and then it's optional.

My HW depends on the class.

I have HW from 7 different classes each day. Not gonna lie.
