I remembered that a new DLK (that's downloadable kontent) kharacter was released a couple weeks ago, Tanya, so I went and checked out her fatality demo reel.


I have never been this bored with a Mortal Kombat fighter in my life. Lifeless character design and generic fighting style, f*** Bo Rai Cho had more character than her and his fatality involved burning people with a lit fart. Her first fatality is alright, but everything else is just cookie cutter action girl. And her x-ray move breaks the opponent's neck twice in a row, that's just unrealistic.

And oh god, her dialogue. "In a way, you need to die"? This is why I need feminism.

I wonder what having two intestines instead of lungs feels like.

I've been having a lot of fun on GameFAQs so I've having trouble determining obviously fake stupid from fake stupid from real stupid.

Bought it a few days ago for PC. Pretty slick game. I haven't gotten the chance to try every character but for now Takeda and Raiden are my mains. Kotal Khan fell extremely short for me.

Anyways... The devs confirmed four characters. Boraicho(oh god), Leather face, Xenomorph, and a combination of the three original robotic ninjas (Sektor, Cyrax, and Smoke). Hopefully they'll explain the story behind the combination of the three cyborgs.

I've never been a fan of him tbh. But he hasn't been in any of the MK games I've played competitively (MK9 and MKX) so maybe that'll change

I think the triple robot thing is cool as f*** and satisfies fans of all three characters without them having to make three variations for each.
Bo Rai Cho is cool and was pretty much confirmed as soon as the silhouettes were shown
Xenomorph is sort of stupid but not unexpected, seems like they're making him the Baraka substitute
Leather Face is f*** retarded and I hate that they're adding him when they could be adding literally any other character from the MK universe. Some people wanted Jason since he would be the extension of Freddy being in MK9, but no one asked for another horror character. It's just a really stupid choice.

Might as well go full blown terrordrome and add manic cop and pumpkin head...

You know who I'd genuinely like to see in Mortal Kombat? Jacket from Hotline Miami. Each fighting style would be based on a different mask, and his fatalities would be half-real half-hallucinated mindf*cks.

Hardcore disagree with this. I feel like it kind of takes a dump on all three of the characters.
