I have a prediction that the new Protest The Hero album will be my AOTY when it comes out

im waiting for the new boards of canada album without expecting anything from it, that way i'll be able to judge it better

I try not to use hype as a factor in judging when I actually hear the album, so I think I'm good

even if it's just okay it wouldn't shatter my dreams or anything

I hope they tour for Sunbather. Last time I saw them was f*** ridiculous, I'd like to go again with some actual familiarity with the songs

EDIT: Also, Trouble Will Find Me is pretty super. Not sure if I like it better than RAM. I didn't fall into RAM's hype much, so I still think it's a solid album overall (Get Lucky's just underwhelming as f***)

Much more focused and coherent. Overall better in basically every way. Drums sound a lot crisper, and I feel that's a major part of it.
