I know this is an MvC topic, but I thought I'd point out that I don't think Capcom cares if Ant Man and Servbot are in movesets already. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom added Joe the Condor in the North American version and his level 3 hyper combo uses Ken the Eagle. I'm somewhat doubting that this rumor is true, but I'm not saying that the characters are ones they wouldn't add.

So yeah, those rumors were false. No patches or updates for UMvC3

But they did show a few ideas that didn't make it into the game (and there's Cyclops):

I was looking at that as well. Drat, he could've been cool. As far as Street Fighter antagonists go I must say that I do prefer M. Bison though.

I've never played a MvC game in my life and I'm think about getting UMvC3 for the 36. Is it worth it? Cause I could also get Borderlands 2 when it comes out.

It is. It's very fun, but the only real downside is that there's not much to do minus battling.

It's an enjoyable game. Pretty fast paced, though. If you're not experienced with fighters, expect to get thrashed online.

Also, get it used. Supporting Capcom is bad.

It's fast paced but it's super easy to learn and get used to. It's really noob friendly.

Meh. I'm a Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur fan so I think I'll be fine. I did however get wrecked the first time I played MK online.

Mk and soul caliber are the farthest things from mvc3 but if you say so, lol

I would say it's easy to pick up if you want to play is casually. If you plan to play it competive it does require practise.

Lots of practice. I still can't successfully combo aside from the minor weak, med, strong, special, then just team air combo.
