If it's that important, we can just make a sticky on "others"
Besides, we used to have one of this ("ask hakker topic"), but it was closed down because of general stupidity.

But a yes need for general users. If there was a policing of the topic, then there should be no problem. Since we reliable mods and admins, chaos is surely to never ensue.

A question section would go a bit too far, being constantly abused by n00bs asking ridiculous questions, I'd say make a sticky and see how that goes.

It's just like the ask a question about SSF2 even if you have the questions answered someone will ask it again...no one bothers to read what was previously said. A faq does nothing either because no one reads it either. If a user has a question they should generally direct it to a mod through a PM. We've helped lots of people that way.

It's probably a good idea for "Anything", and for a section.
A thread would be bombarded with different questions people would just skip and take long to answer.
Look at the SSF2 Question thread.
If there was a section, there would be a thread for each question, easily sorted out.
and people who knows the answer, can just go and answer.
But, Ask.com....
