Just to be clear by "Pathera's random voting post" I mean the one on page 8 because that's when things actually got serious.

You're right about Ramsey voting after TOWK and both of them voting before Panthera's post, but that post wasn't where things got serious. It was serious before that.

And do you know what random means? Cause Ramsey's and TOWK's votes were neither random nor experimental.

No real suspicions were made on pathera's first few attempts to get everyone to stop voting. Most of the active players ignored it(saved for 194) it was only after pathera's post on page 8 where people started to make scum of pathera. In my book that's when it really started and what came before was merely small banter.

By random I mean voting without that much to really back the vote up and just seeing how the accussed would react. TOWK did give reasoning, but it was shallow and clearly not meant as a serious "let's lynch him" maneuver, same for Ramsey.

Maybe I don't understand what random means, cause it seems that in this post it sounds like he wasn't just random voting JC.

@Pathera: I haven’t been posting because I don’t have anything worthwhile to say.

Or do you want me to start making meaningless posts just so you know I’m here? I can do that, if it’ll please you.

I never said Ramsey's vote was random though. I said it was random/experimental, so there's that. Although based on recent events I would like to hear terra's or anyone else's thoughts on terra's suspicions. We need to get some people thinking if we want to move the day forward.

Well now that you mention it, King Arthur did vote for JC after Panthera Leo's random voting post with the reasoning of:
King Arthur wrote:
Like TWOK said, he's acting just like he did in the last game, where he was scum.

King Arthur wrote:
Insert the generic "Don't hammer till we squeeze information out of him!" line here.

I think this pretty much confirms it as not random or experimental.

I'm personally suspicious of Panthera, Ramsey, and Bonsaitoad.

Panthera's been over-reacting to everything, and has pointed fingers at over half of the players. Not to mention he still hasn't answered my, "How's life?" question. He seems to be dodging it altogether.

Ramsey voted, unvoted, called out Terra, and then left. Just feels scummy.

Bonsaitoad's only real post is when he joined in on the random voting and voted Lightning. He hasn't posted since.

Sure, forget that my leaving had a completely valid excuse lol.

Im on my tablet right now, so i cant make a very long post. I still think JamesClyde is scummy, im not sure on everyone else. I dont really feel panthera is scum, i think everyone is really trying too hard to make something from peoples D1 actions, however that doesnt mean i believe hes town. I really just dont know what to think.

Terra if you were genuinely insulted i think you should grow a pair lol.

Also please do bear in mind that this is my first forum mafia, ive played chat mafia before though. I didnt realize that user sensitivity was so high or expect my posts to be 200% analyzed and then analyzed again haha. I'll try to be more careful with how i word things so i dont give off the wrong implications like i somehow seem to be doing.

I know how you feel. This is my second time, and I got lynched day 1 on my first time so i didn't get to experience it much. But man, every word is a big deal.

It’s not about ”user sensitivity”. It’s about how insulting people when trying to make an argument just makes you look childish and also about being respectful to other people. (I’m well aware of the irony when I’m the one saying that, thank you very much.)

Just finished reading through the day again, here are my reads thus far:

Panthera: Seems content with stalling the voting process, but provides little in terms of actual progressive content. He doesn't push his accusations any further than what he believes is necessary for self-defense, which is a common scum-tell. He has yet to respond to the questions in my last post or do any of the analysis that he claims he wants to see from the town.

Ramsey: His reasoning for voting JamesClyde consists entirely of "Yeah, definite FoS on JamesClyde". This wouldn't be a huge deal due to his being away from the computer yesterday, but afterwards he actually says that he posted reasoning... In general his posts have been pinging my scumdar.

194: Leaning towards scum, but nothing concrete yet. Has yet to elaborate on the night 0 action tha he hinted at.

King Arthur: Possible scum, nothing very concrete yet.

Shoop: In general feels very goofy and unconcerned with scum hunting, I sense third party but he may be laid-back scum.

Blood: General scum vibes but nothing solid yet.

Kyuubit: Leaning towards town.

Terra: Leaning towards town.

JamesClyde: Actually my strongest town read, surprisingly enough. His accusations actually make some amount of sense, as opposed to Mafia 12 where he came swinging completely out of left field.

Everyone else: Null.

Well I woke up at 4 today and read back, seeing not much. As for reads, instead of just restating what Brik said I'll just say I pretty much agree with all of them, but I see Blood and 194 as null, and adds on a town read for Brik.

I'd like to add that Leo refused to make reads for a lame reason, that a few players are inactive. That shouldn't stop him from making reads on the ones who have.

Unvote i actually think that Lightning is not a scummy.

And i think that panthera is too defensive. I can't honestly find much more.

I just don't see a point in scumhunting the first day. We really don't get a lot to go off of.
