I think DK already has a difficult time defending, so making a frame-perfect combo isn't exactly impossible. Additionally, using charged Giant Punch as a defensive measure has a significant disadvantage of losing your charge, so it isn't exactly spammable or always a good idea.

Sure you cant spam it, but you can throw it out and just like not give a damn what the other guy is throwing at you. Its a pretty easy 35%/Kill if you predict that the other guy is about to do something that isnt a tether grab.

What's hilarious is charge punching a charge punch.
(the second guy will just clank unless you are frame perfect, in which case youll land the hit, but the first guy's super armor still absorbs it)

An experienced DK against Fox, is a death wish for Fox... Unless Fox is fast on his feet, DK will beat Fox by a long shot.

Depends on the stage, although I think ToS is the only one that could possibly give Fox an advantage. Lots of room to run around and also better recovery options. It's one of the most fun MUs in the game imo. As a Fox, just trying to restore neutral after getting a kill is crucial and exhilarating.

Fox vs DK is easily IMO the most volatile matchup in the game: DK has chaingrabs that can easily take a stock off of one grab, while Fox wins the neutral by a ton and has excellent combos and edgeguarding as well.

I don't understand what you people are saying about the recovery... my DK up special only moves side to side... no vertical recovery whatsoever. Am I missing something?

Also, there is bug where I charge the super punch, and have the puff of smoke on my shoulder but when I go to finish my opponent off, I'm stuck charging.. This happens with other charge ability characters, like Naruto's Rasenshuriken and Samus' charge shot. Idk what causes it, it is random

I believe they said on the dev Q&A that this is one of the most annoying bugs they've had and are working on it.

Make it so you can charge it so long you knock them out of the game screen and onto your desktop. Charging an already charged super punch ftw.

Utilt's hitbox is all kinds of butt.

For one, it shouldnt hit people nearly that far in front of DK.
2, vertically, in front of DK the hitbox extends way to low. If you arent behind DK when he uses utilt, you should NOT be hit on the ledge. Hell i can go so far as to say that really short characters shouldnt be hit at all in front unless they are jumping or something.

Similarly, during side b, DK should be hitting you with his face, not his cowlick. The range is WAY farther than the animation implies.

Side-B's Hit-Box is actually very similar to SSBM's.

I'm fine with side special having long range: it's hardly spammable or anything. But the invisible disjoint is ridiculous, because I have no idea what anti-airs outrange it. It's like Snake's up-tilt in Brawl: you think you're safe, and then the invisible hitbox of doom hits you.

Like either the hitbox should get shortened, or DK should slide forward into it, make the hitbox more apparent.

it is literally probably three pixels away from his head, are you sure you arent throwing out attacks with hurtboxes and then getting hit
