Ness's PSI Magnet in this game is useless. Really useless. The one time it could have came in handy (Mario's fireballs being spammed against me) it didn't heal me. It could be good for avoiding ceiling finishers, but it takes too long to leave so the low gravity is a problem, as you just become more predictable. Also, is it me or is Ness's Fair the only Fair you can rely on to hit in most situations? How I'd change Ness + PSI Magnet's acting out of animation is almost twice as fast + PSI Magnet at least provides some damage reduction on any gunner, elemental or magic move (including ones like Samus's Fair) - PK Fire is slower, thus easier to read. + you have a limited aspect of handling the PK Pulse orb once it's out. = if you are hit firing PK Pulse the orb disappears. + Bair has slightly longer reach + Dair and Uair have slightly more knockback + Dsmash has slightly more KO potential. = Dair has an electric effect - Ness's Double Jump travels less distance

PSI magnet is really useful for recovery - you travel further horizontally and energy based projectiles can't knock you out of it.

it's also a very useful movement option since you can jump out of it

Also PSI Magnez not healing is a bug that will be fixed in Beta. And what do you mean with controlling PK Flash? You already can.

Random psi magnet trivia: towards the end of your endlag, down b releases a win box. Idk how useful it will become (compared to sheik's up b windbox), but it can at least mess up pika's recovery

That windbox has been present in pretty mich every Smash game, so it should be common knowledge. I also find it rather useless in usafe, Id happily take a trade iff wich takes the windbox in exchange for its PM counterpart.

Also, in the times leading up to 0.8b when the devs were releasing previews, they showed and explained the windbox. But of course, newer players may not know.

they like the playstyle then, not the character... don't always have to nut over a character's history and s*** in order to main them lol

Indeed, I bet this statistic also applies to Falcon and F-Zero lol

In fact, I played Ness the first time because I enjoyed Earthbound so much But yeah, I giess youre right. But like Tac said, you dont need to know the backgeound of a char to main him. If I did that, I never woulda played Olimar in Brawl and might not even play Smash at all, so scratch that rule.
