1. Assuming I do... Well, I do because the text only mechanism makes the lectures quite harder, because the long duration allows more strategies, and because roles can be really creative given the format of them. 2. Because the games have a longer duration, to be killed before being even able to post is really disappointing. That's why I prefer Day startings. 3. Bus Drivers seem to be very fun. They can really change all the happenings in the game, and their reasonings and actions should be done very carefully, because they have a really enormous potential. _________________  Avatar and signature pics by Semicolon. |

1. I like Mafia in general. Though most of the games I've played have been in real life, which is nice because you can get a read on other players from their speech/body language, forum Mafia has its advantages. Discussion is usually a lot more organized and lengthy because people don't get impatient nearly as quickly. 2. *Copies 194's answer.* 3. I like both town and mafia roles. It's really a completely different game from each side. I like being in a role that can do something during the night, though. Vanilla townies and bulletproofs aren't really my style. |

1. Most of the games I play are on EM, however I like forum mafia slightly better because you get more people into it and forum mafias can be themed. I do like themed mafia. 2. Day, that way, no one is killed before the game even begins. 3. Jester and Amnesiac. _________________  |

1. It gives me a chance to make some new friends... and possibly enemies. 2. Day is the best starting phase for me, because nobody wants to get killed N1 before they've even had a chance to play. 3. Jailer, Cop, Amnesiac - not necessarily in that order. |

1. I don't really enjoy forum mafia, I like mafia in general. 2. Night starts for quick games, but on a forum, day starts are better. 3. Third party roles are the most fun for me. |

1. Mafia is a very complex and fun game; however, in my area there are few people whom I recognize that play mafia. Thus, forum mafia or Epic Mafia are my only chances to truly play this seriously. 2. I ultimately perfer Day start: it allows all player to recieve a feel for the other players and prevents a player from having to not play the entire game. 3. Amnesiac on most games I play; you can choose which side to be on and can be a valuable asset to both town and mafia. As a side note, my favorite role overall is Nexus on http://mafiascum.net/ from the unpredictability associated with that role.
I request it, as it helps stabilize play and predictions. |

1)When I first saw the game it looked pretty fun a game about observation and deception, that's something I can get into. 2)Day,definitely,I like to gather more information about each player before deciding how I should use my role at night. Plus there is a possible chance of getting killed at night before you even begin playing. 3)So far my roles for pretty much every mafia games has consist of the doctor therefore I do not know the thrill of being any other role. |

1.I enjoy mafia,because i love suspense/mystery and forum games.....so together thats a pretty fun game. 2.probably day,i guess because i get to know a little bit about everyone before someone gets lynched 3.I guess the good guys(maybe the vigilante) just working to get the mafia out and doing my own business at night. _________________  |

2. Doesn't really matter to me, but if I had to choose i'd say day. 3. Any town sided role is my favorite. |

I also request the role list, please. And the questions: 1. It's easier to think about what you say, as whatever you say will affect the game's direction, depending on what you say. Also, it's easier to prove your points, along with seeing what others have said. 2. Copying 194's answer 3. Ten town, four mafia and two third-party. This does not seem like very good news for town. Two third party roles could be an extreme threat to town, considering what happened last game with the third-party role; four mafia vs. ten town are also extremely bad odds. Concerning Day One actions, I did a quick analysis of our situation using the above information, assuming there is at least one investigative role and no third party killers: A Town mislynches -Day two, eight town, four mafia and two third-party. -Investigation result to lead lynch if investigator is alive -Almost certain loss for town. B Town lynches scum/third party -Day two, seven town, five others -Investigation result to lead lynch if investigator is alive -Possible town win C No lynch -Day two, seven town, four others -Investigation result to lead lynch if investigator is alive -Possible, but unlikely, town win If we lynch, we have a 3/8 chance of hitting scum/third party, almost half. Thus, I propose we random lynch. As a side note, this set-up is cult sided, assuming cult works like normal. |
