MGN login speeds have been improved!

You'll now notice that logging in on the website and within the game is way faster than before, and you're now far less likely to receive the "Connection Timeout" error. We have also taken care of the issue with the "logged in elsewhere" error that some of you have been receiving. We are still working to improve the overall stability to eliminate mid-match connection drops, however connecting within the game and logging into the web site should work much better now. We'll continue making tweaks to take care of these remaining issues.

In case you haven't read the online mode questions topic:

Q: I keep getting stuck in the Waiting Room!
Answer: show
A: This means that RTMFP (the technology that SSF2 uses to connect you to opponents) doesn't work with your network's current settings. This is probably going to be super annoying, but if this network is yours, you have to do some router tweaking to get it working.

We're pretty new in the field, so we'll let the dev of the popular RTMFP game "Haxball" explain it best and offer some solutions for you. Just as a warning; this is some advanced stuff we're dealing with here, so if you're not computer savvy, you might want to have someone else that you trust do this for you.

Check out the "I can't connect to any rooms! It gets stuck at the "Connecting to host" phase." question in their FAQ.

I think I'll do everyone a favor and wait until either A) MGN's speed is increased and reliable, or B) I get a faster internet. Sometimes I feel like it's so slow that we'd be better off with dial-up...

Looking forward to playing as the Sandbag in SSF2. Time for some Revenge to be dished out.

Well then...looks like I may not be able to play Online mode for quite a long time then. Might as well drop out of any tournaments I'm currently in. Still, thank you Void.

Thank god Cleod9 is fixing the remaining issues. I will keep that in mind.

You need a chatbox at the bottom of the screen. And names at the right side of the screen of the lobby. Oh there is another thing that is missing. Ping, we need to read others ping before we join their servers. Oh and we really do need a chatbox in game too so we can communicate.

That doesn't explain my issues, though. I was able to play two days ago, but yesterday and today I wasn't.
