Ichigo would be slightly easier to punish, but he's still no slouch; even offline. He still has extremely safe moves and his combo-game is probably easier to consistently get started offline with no lag around.

It sucks that Ichi has garnered so much talk because he's really one of the most shallow players in the game. Luckily two of my mains are pretty good options against Sir Campsalot.

Worst: DK: has good range and can kill her really early, and conversely she can't kill him soon unless a Rest is connected. Ichigo: not that bad, but range is kill too. Since he's overall faster, he can punish mistakes more easily than puff. Still not that bad I think. Kirby: both play in the air but one has better movement and it ain't Jiggs. Basically he outplays her in her own (and "strongest") game. Or maybe I'm just biased coz Sora wrecked me but still haha.
Best: it's hard to tell, but Sheiks seems fairly even. I think ZSS too.

For my Jiggly it's
Worst: Ichigo. I just get ragdolled. A lot of his moves are annoyingly effective counters to my approaches Best: Captain Falcon. He's heavy and has no projectiles so unless it's a really skilled Falcon I usually win this MU with lots of rests no problem

I think Jiggs gets wrecked by Lloyd. Especially if he goes for the wall-out-fair style of Lloyd. I think Link is also super good against Jiggs too.
I'm not even sure if Jiggs has has any positive matchups lol. I think she might be even with several characters at best. Jiggs might utterly destroy most characters offstage but onstage she gets walled out by some characters so easily.
I think Puff loses to ZSS, her zoning is too good for Puff and the recovery is impossible to catch due to all of the mixups (MK/Kirby have similar problems edgeguarding ZSS).

Jiggz vs Ichigo is sad, because Ichigo can do a lot of things that are really hard to punish, completely wall out, and then kill at 80% every stock. My favorite matchup for Jiggz is Bomberman: doesn't need to worry about bombs as much as other characters, combos BBM like a sack of potatoes, easily edgeguards, and beats all of his options in the air.

I think the Ichigo MU, while still highly unfavorable, isn't thaaat bad, the Jiggs player just has to not commit that much, throwing the safest moves and once there's a chance for a counterattack, retaliate. Doesn't seem there's much an Ichigo can do to make her approach and he isn't the fastest either; once he's in range tho, it's a hard time for the Jiggs.
Agree that is indeed hard to counter ZSS recovery since it isn't like the others. Puff is all about interrupting when the opponents is flying towards the stage, but since her recovery is a tether Puff doesn't get to do that. In neutral there doesn't seem to be a clear advantage for either, specially if Jiggs tries to position at an upwards angle (like 60° or something from the floor) where Zamus can't catch her easily. However with an Fsmash, Jiggs can be killed at really low percents, so one must be very careful.

Strategy: Attack the opponent when they are getting the Smash Ball. Sometimes you can hit both.

And nobody's going to use strategies in casual matches.

when I play with items, I use countless amounts of strategies lol they add more strategies in order to win (given that they are are situational). you have to be prepared for each strategy you have for each item that appears.

Casuals can be perfectly capable of making strategies, even half-decent ones. Back when I was a casual, I'd use the Mario tornado to hover over my opponent, making them whiff their upsmash, and then come down and hit them.
