I agree with Skailler, it doesn't make to much sense to wait months when we can just have one now and an awesome large one at Beta. Plus the release date hasn't been announced so everything is just speculation. The end or March or beginning of April sounds good as they're weeks away. I also don't know about 10 vs 10 since a higher number means more difficulty in the setup since EU has only 10 confirmed players, if the US was short we can use reserves or fill in spots with pretty much anyone, if the EU is missing 2 people or more then chances are someone from "The World" will have to get drafted in. But if people voice that they want 10 vs 10 then discuss it. Currently I'm looking at a list of people who have confirmed they wanted to be in and it looks like a decent list:

Post an update comment if availability changes. I tried to pick these times without having the EU players staying up to 2-3 in the morning. If you want to suggest additional times, go for it. We'll try to aim for a time that gets the most people equally on both sides and their captains. I feel like we should have streaming, my only concern is the issue of troublesome lag. Some players can actually stream their own matches (Such as SS, Jammy, Chaunch, and Sorabotic) but it'd be slightly less hype and "connected" if only streamer's matches were able to be viewed during the event although that might be what's needed for the best/accurate outcomes. Void spoke about commentating the matches via replays which is honestly the best way to get commentary on a matches atm. (Please devs, even if Spectator Mode were delayed by several seconds from the live match, we crave spectator mode in SSF2. T-T) That commentary on the match replays would be awesome for everyone who watches the crew battle on youtube, so regardless of streaming the vast majority will watch the past matches on youtube in consistent quality complete with commentary. _________________  aka. I agree. I also think the full event should be streamed, and not someone playing their matches on a different stream. This is probably one of the biggest events in the SSF2 competitive scene or should be, so we should try our best to set it up well. _________________ MGN: Titan |
