This RP is based on zombies. If you're familiar with this type of RP, then you probably won't have a problem getting used to it. Anyway, in order for me to pull this off, I'd need a story. That's my only obstacle (although a city type of setting is what I had in mind, so I‘ll refer to the location as that for now). I've managed to come up with a main objective for the game, instead of a storyline.

Update: I've added vehicles, transceiver, and psychopaths to the list, and I've slightly modified info on the survivors and inventories.

Update: I’ve managed to come up with an overview for the game. I've added a few new weapons, and I've accepted items to calm survivors down. I’ve also split different types of weapons into categories and added ‘Occupation‘ to the character sheet.

Update: I've modified info on weapons and items a bit, 'Skills' has been added to the character sheet.

Gameplay

The main objective of the game is to survive in a zombie-infested city for 30 days, after which help arrives. The point of the game is to complete as many missions (including escorts, hideout maintenance, and search and destroy) as possible before your help arrives to pick you up on April 2. The game will start at 9:13 AM, and in order to make the time go faster, at least 10 posts after my last one that told the time, 5 minutes will have passed.

Zombies

The zombies in this RP are basically given a good advantage to try and kill you. They obviously can't infect you unless you fail to defend yourself when they attack (such as being grabbed by one and failing to push it off before it bites you). However, their advantage is that their claws are poisonous to living beings. The poison is absorbed through your skin. If your character is scratched by one, they won't become a zombie. Instead, you will find the zombie that poisoned you has become stronger, depending on your status. They will be able to run as fast as you could, while you become weaker as you progress. There isn't a cure, although the victim can recover their strength by finding a butterfly needle and using it to drain the blood from the infected area, but there is no guarantee that it will work on the first try. And the victim must remain inactive for a while in order to regain their strength and blood.

Mentioned above, it is possible for the zombie to bite and infect you, although the same method used for their other poison can be used here, but it may take much longer for you to find the affected blood, leaving time for the virus to take over your body.

Hideouts

Hideouts are safe areas located throughout the city. These hideouts are used for recovery, protection, and escorts. When visited for the first time, hideouts will contain some weapons or items. There will be one hideout available when the game starts, but different hideouts will become available as you explore the city, each of them with different first time items. The hideouts also have a limited amount of space for survivors. You are always welcome, but if there is no room for any new survivors, you will have to find a new one with enough space. Of course, the hideouts aren’t invisible to the zombies. You may get away with it if you don’t advertise your presence, but they must be well protected if you wish to keep it. If you fail to defend your hideout, from the zombies, it will eventually be overrun by them. You can choose to fight them off, try to protect and escape with survivors you may have found, or you can escape with your life and leave others to fend for themselves.

Survivors

Survivors are, as their name implies, people that have managed to survive the outbreak and are looking for protection. When you encounter one you may choose to escort them to a hideout (make sure that it has enough space first), ignore them, or kill them yourself. Survivors can also be equipped with weapons to defend themselves when you aren‘t around, and they also may already have weapons when you find them. When you find a survivor, they may have an injury that will prevent them from traveling, and if you are planning on saving them you will be forced to carry them. Survivors are also useful in searching the city for supplies. You can recruit them to accompany you, or you can send them out alone.

A survivor’s sanity can change depending on the situation. For example, if one were to experience an injury, they may start to become scared of their deaths. If you fail to calm them down, they will eventually lose their minds, and you may be forced to kill them, or they may kill themselves, if you are unable to calm them down. You can also use items to calm survivors down, such as morphine, just make sure you know what you're doing. Survivors can even be found insane, although it is possible to calm them down and bring them to a hideout.

Weapons and Other Items

Items can be found in different areas throughout the city. When you come across a store, for example, it is recommended that you search when you have the time, because you may find different weapons or other items inside, and they may prove very useful later on. Also, stating the name of any type of weapon doesn't determine it's properties. For example, it doesn't matter if you state whether your pistol is a Desert Eagle or not. It won't affect the damage it does.

Ammo

Ammo is only used for firearms. It is universal, meaning you don’t have to state what type of ammo it is.

Stores

Stores are located throughout the city. When you search a store you may find weapons, items, survivors, or maybe even zombies inside. You can’t always predict what will be inside, so be on your guard. Stores can also be barricaded with items, such as chairs and tables. Remember that these barricades will not last forever, no matter how strong the items are. So do what you need to do quickly when you are inside one.

Inventory

Inventories are used to carry items you cannot hold in your hands. Depending on how big your inventory is, there will be a different limit to how much items you can carry. Depending on what type of inventory you are using, it may have different item restrictions.

Storage

Storages are located in hideouts. Storages have a limited amount of any item it can carry. For example, you can only store 55 handguns in each storage, and this differs between every weapon.

Vehicles

You can use vehicles to travel around the city. Because of the amount of chaos in the city, you may find vehicles in bad shape when you find them. It is possible to repair them, if you have the proper tools, and maybe even modify them. Vehicles, such as cars have trunks, which make great inventories for your items.

Transceiver

You are always equipped with a transceiver for information about survivors, zombie attacks, and more. You can still obviously discover these things on your own, but you can't guarantee that you'll get to the location in time. You'll have this information when the transceiver rings.

Radio

Radios can be accessed in hideouts. They are used to recieve information from the outside of the city. This is also how characters are informed of a survivor's location. Radios will also be the source of information about the coming help.

Psychopaths

Psychopaths are living characters that are hostile to you. They can't be persuaded to come with you to a hideout, so don't bother. Psychopaths will try to kill you for survival, for sport, or for no reason at all, so be on your guard.

He thinks about the consequences before he acts, especially in life threatening situations.

Starter Weapon: Knife, Grenadesx4 (There, I took it down a notch.)
Appearance: Blond hair (OMG! FINALLY! CS DOESN'T MAKE A BLACK HAIRED GUY), Pale complexion, blue eyes, scrawny body, wears a red shirt and blue jeans.
Occupation: Collage Student
Skills: Internet-Wise modifying, basic construction skill
Bio: Hanged out in a bomb shelter with a mildly paranoid friend. Stocked well on spam and twinkies. In spare time, salvaged alcohol bottles, created explosives from it (Replaces "Grenades", but I can't SPELL IT!). Friend killed by zombie, Gram decides to avenge, but is cornered inside of the bomb shelter. Now currently cowering in the corner of a room, with a pocket knife, and a couple Molotov's that were stored before.

RP suggestions:
Vulcan Machine Gun? Powerful yet extremely heavy, dual hands, faster rate of fire than submachine gun. More amno per magazine, highly inaccurate.
Dual wieldin' Pistols, knifes, and SMGs?
Bat? Heavy sporting item?
Rocks? (Store some rocks, eh?)
Rocket Launcher? (lol) Military accessible only, unless you break into the complex or whatnot?
Food: Heals, and/or required to be eaten to sustain health.
Medicine: Used to cure basic colds and coughs, small things that may impede combat performance.
Folding Chair-Melee Weapon. BASH EM!
Match/Lighter/Magnifying Glass-Used to start fires! Which reminds me of...
Flamethrower! Or flare guns. Set stuff on fire.
C4: Explosive. Available at military base.
Flak Cannon (Like thats available against zombies...)
Tape-Used to secure things (to hold barricades for 0.002 seconds)

I do love a Zombie game. I think this one is well thought out, though I'd say it's still ruff around the edges. A simple story is no story, just trying to survive.

I wonder why you didn't point that out? The only person I can think of that has been capable of lifting and firing one (though they were blanks) is Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Dual wielding effectively is beyond the average human, you should know that.

How about you make a mysterious man come from the future who looks like Arnold and let him kick the zombies from the planet...
The Vulcan machine gun is a bad idea, It is too strong and too heavy that it is also used in AA cannons.

Nobody gets a joke... (Except for Thaiberium, apparently)
As for my bio and stuff, I'll fix it. How about a Collage Student?
I still disagree about kicking out my Molotovs. I gave myself a knife, come on!
(Of course, in the first couple of posts, I will amazingly find a gun, possible a glock or beretta, and it will be swapped out with a D-Eagle after having the gun become jammed...
Oh, and don't forget the rage mode of firing an SMG from the hip at full auto and actually having half the shots hit zombies.)
