DI'ing Dsmash wrong is totally possible: it's fast and hits at a different angle than fsmash, which covers a similar range.

Did I say it wasn't possible?

Did you even read what I said?

You said a good player will rarely miss the DI. I said that missing the DI is perfectly common: even the best players routinely miss DI on fast moves, and dsmash has a really weird trajectory that requires different DI than other options. Someone who was unfamiliar with Samus's options might DI towards Samus because they thought that an fsmash or a Charge Shot was coming and miss the DI on dsmash.

You said that:

A good a opponent would rarely DI badly. Also that's with bad DI so its not helping it kills at ridiculous percentages.

So TheCodeSamurai said that is it possible EVEN for a good player (it's easy to undestand he meant that) to miss a DI on DSmash. Well that's true. A lot of good players are actually missing this DI because it's really hard to do.

But for you the mistake is coming from Samurai because he misunderstood what you meant. It's always the same thing.

Umm yeah sure.

I know its possible, but I never said it was impossible.

Lets just end it here.

Just wanna point out that Samus' D-smash is actually pretty hard to DI (especially if you don't see it coming). Not only does it send you behind her but it also comes out super fast; making it very easy to DI in the wrong direction (DI'ing in instead of away).

Even with proper DI, at about 60-70% at the edge of any stage (even lower for some stages) you're going to die (If Samus is facing the right way).

Too bad that situation doesn't come up often.

Against fast fallers I can make this situation happen pretty frequently. But not against floaties.

I did that a couple of times before...

It's a great follow-up combo, actually.

Did you notice that the Charge shot did 53%? That is a bug we need to discuss.

Yeah that Charge Shot having double the % power and knockback power is what I wanted to point out, not the combo.

Did you know that Samus' Grab can be shortened to a second?

You can walk or dash (without grabbing an opponent) to do so.

Samus' running grab is noticeably faster than her standing one. She appears to be the only character with this, the devs are probably using her as a test to see about implementing this globally, or to a select group of other characters.
