Welp. Went to the clinic today with my mum, all's more or less good.

And now, for the long awaited Chapter 2 Awards! Once again, I thank you all who are still here for being such awesome contributors to this RP. I only bring a rough story, and it's you guys who give the story life and colour with your characters. Chapter 2 was A LOT longer than originally planned, but a lot of interesting things came from it that I hadn't intended to reveal until later in the story, which in turn has had me thinking on certain mechanics for Book 2. This was DEFINITELY not the filler chapter I was expecting. I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Now for the awards:

Magical Girl:Obviously this goes to Tsubaki. While it is clear that her character was designed in this direction, Tsubaki in action plays out in a manner that doesn't feel forced or outside of the realm of this universe. She's a foreign exchange student, and her behaviour and mannerisms are enough to prove that without having to state all the time that she's from Japan. She's darn cute to boot as well.

Power House:This time around I felt that this award should go to Adi. All though he is no longer with us, (;~;) he has used his powers quite effectively in every battle he's been in. I was really looking forward to further developing his story arch along with his powers, but alas, Thai is gone. Miss you <3

Cat Girl: Quite simply, this is Lotus in a nut-shell. While most Animalium don't take on the actual mannerisms of their spirit animal, Lotus went all in, roaring and purring and growling. It's endearing, and a bit amusing.

Magus Bound: Obviously this goes to Daniel. He triggered the magic sub-plot that I didn't think anyone would have yet and it caught me completely off guard. (As there was no system to deal with this yet) However, I worked and worked and worked and finally set up something rudimentary to work with. I like Daniel, he's so insecure and unsure of himself. I look forward to what he becomes in the future.

Most Improved:I'm giving this award to both Infinity and Jack. When they first joined, they had their weaknesses as RPers, but I must say they have improved GREATLY throughout the chapter. They've both developed their characters quite interestingly and brought their characters to life. I must say, I did not expect Johnny to sign the contract with the demon thing. That was a real curve ball. Damian, has also become a complex character, and I see him becoming quite powerful. Congrats you two! Keep improving your writing! : D

I'm not going to bother with the Shakespeare award because really, you guys have really fleshed out characters.

I gotta say, thank you for allowing me to join this roleplay, it's great and I do feel I've improved just from participating in this with such great rpers.
On a less related note, my laptop has been repaired and is better than ever.

I know you're expecting an update, but this will have to go on a hiatus for the rest of the week until some time next week. My great grandmother passed away last weekend, so I'm not really in the mood for writing about ghosts, spirits, or dwelling on layered plot lines presently. I'll be back soon though.

Wow, it seems like that week-long break was exactly what I needed! I present to you the last Artes within this universe: Caelorum, Karminis, Malorum, and Umbrae. Due credit belongs to Deciton for the inspiration behind the Dormientis, Filarum, Malorum, Mutationis, and Notatorum Liberare. <3

These new classes are really neat, the Karminis in particular catch my eye. Tsubaki would have probably belonged to that arte had it existed.

Further trickle down credit goes to Wizzquizz for the inspiration of the Dormientis. I can't remember the exact convo, but it was him that started the seed in my head.

Also you guys are welcome for the playable jerk, the you might become a jerk, the original badass jerk, the jerk times your jerkiness, and the magical girl classes. I hope you enjoy the villains and comedy that are sure to ensue.

Just for the record I don't feel Lotus and Tsubaki's talk and walk will yield much without a talk many posts long so I don't plan on actually having it.

Are we still waiting on anyone specific?
