Why there are still people thinking those characters are WTF, remember this isn't a game of popular stars (at all), but more a game that projects the history of nintendo in a fighting game? Or at least that's what i think. Game & Watch was one of the first steps nintendo made before the start of their home consoles, and Mr G&W clearly syntetize that important era for nintendo. Relevant character: Yes R.O.B. is the best representative of all the creative storm that nintendo had during the NES era, more specifically their multiple accesories, the Zapper, the Power Glove, but none of that was compared with a CONTROLLABLE ROBOT on your home, a concept very innovative but also creative (we are talking on the 80´s era where technology was really slowly growing and it didn't had all the things we have today). And even considering that by being a robot, it makes it's character of his own, so by that reason he is relevant? Yes And Wii Fit Girl, yeha, we were used to the old school characters from our childhood, but what about the new franquises, and specially one that aims from a competly different market target that the one intendo was used to? Nintendo took the risk with wii fit, and it worked with excellent results (maybe not for us because we don't play those fitness games, lol, but for other people it did). That i think it was the reason wii fit girl got in, good way to represent the succees on that target market, also for open more smash for the casual players. Smash can't be all hardcore and semi-casual you know?, PD: Is there someone on the forums with WiiU and Miiverse? i have seen some snapshots of the game that aren't on the main website, and i wonder if sakurai updated some on there...:S

About Jigglypuff, Purin is one of the most popular Pokemon in Japan alongside Pikachu, so that more than explains why its there.

I really don't want to see Mii. The villager already seems like what the Mii would be, and the fitness trainer on top of that feels like it's all we need.

And Talesoffan posted the picture of the Fire Emblem(?) stage on page 277 here earlier. so are there only 3 pictures that have been released on that Miiverse thing or are there more? That's my question.
EDIT: another question. where did it say that they are releasing up to 6 characters at E3?

OH GOD Wii Fit Trainer is in. I already knew that though. I don't see her as a fighter, they could've gone with the boxing mii trainer from Wii Sports. Yoga isn't really smashy, it's more stretchy. BMT could have his boxing gloves. USm could be a chargeable uppercut. SSm could be a chargeable jab. DSm could be a chargeable stomp or kick. Combo could be a jab, cross, and tai kick, in that order. Specials could involve a sandbag. Side special could be where he pulls out a sandbag and have the opponent attack it and be stunned from the impact. Down special could be a double stomp with his feet sending off a shockwave. Neutral Special could be where he throws out a sandbag. He attacks it to become stronger for a certain amount of time. UpSpec could be a super uppercut to launch himself upwards. Final Smash could be where he summons a door that sends off a shockwave upon appearance. It opens and has trainees come in and pummel the opponent until they fight them off, but they can withstand most weak attacks, and some strong attacks. The door closes and sucks in nearby opponents and damages them with moderate damage and high knockback. Fun. This was fun thinking of.

Charismatic Cole is right (at least about WFT), she doesn't seem right.
Just a plain old Mii would be fine with me.

Their is no kicking or using feet what so ever for attack in boxing so get your facts right.

@Niayre: No dip. Introducing feet into his moveset would bring some flavor. Feet flavor. More like... sparring. That's my kinda style... and jiu-jitsu. @UltimateZendayaFan:Thx, it's just Cole. I would like another rep for the Megaman and Sonic universes. Zero and Tails/Shadow.
