Im pretty sure that this has been said before, but... There is actually a way to get the Chibi-Blaster aimed down if you are on the ground: SH and use it just before you land. If done right, you should be standing on the ground but can only aim downwards. I guess it might be useful for that secific 1/200 edgeguard where SH Blaster aimed down wont hit, and if you wanna hit someone directly below you, but idk. Im not really the expert Chibi here after all

Yeah that's only useful for edgeguards (or even jab resetting depending on the situation).

*cough* Nair *cough* I barely use bair. I use Nair istead of bair, it's good for critical situations cause it comes out quickly than any other move.

Well, Bair has notably more range than Nair and has more KB as well. I find it quite useful for edgeguarding. I had that weird idea of giving Chibi a Zair and being able to cancel Toothbrush at certainpoints into another attack... Yes Wooly Im initiating 20CR... Im sorry

Back ontopic: I honestly want Chibi to have a Zair. Call me dumb, but I feel like he should have one. Something else that would be cool imo is having the last hit of Up B kill ppl, letting FSmash fall over the edge and not just float mid-air, more range on DTilt, a faster Bair and more kill options. I think letting DSmash kill at 115% with more range or so would be nice. And one last dumb thing: I want to be able to cancel Toothbrush on hit for moar combos. Basically just give Side B Turbo properties.

I would settle for jump cancel Brush. That would buff his combo game, KO setups and his recovery, all of which need work.

Hmm, while I don't doubt that Chibi could really use a buff if this kind, giving a character something that can be JC'd is quite big. It is, in the context of smash, one of the biggest buffs you could give a character. So now Chibi can JC his toothbrush. That means utilt, upsmash, grab, and any aerial can be done, potentially on hit. Idk if it becomes safe on shield, but Chibi might be able to seriously pressure shields (threatening a grab) as well as convert directly into upsmash/utilt for killing/combining. Also, he'd be able to go under FD

Yeah, I think the best way to buff a character's combo game (which Chibi sorely needs) is to change the knockback properties of their moveset, not give them cancels (which tends IMO to lead more towards autocombos than a fluid punish game). Some ideas:
* Give a zair as you mentioned and give it no ending lag like Samus's so it might combo into stuff * Make dtilt a good launcher with more range (Roy-esque) * Change uair's base knockback and KB growth to keep the kill power but be a more effective juggling tool * Give fair a Marth-like tipper hitbox that hits in the air vertically * Improve dthrow slightly (less KB and trajectory of 90 if it doesn't have that already) * Make dash attack's tipper hitbox send up and behind Chibi a la Marth * Make utilt faster and improve KB trajectory
Of course, you still have to work with his other problems (I'm thinking Brush cancels into up-B should help recovery out, and I think he'll have solid KO options when he can combo into the moves he already has (uair in particular: if falling uair to uair, dtilt to uair, dthrow to uair, utilt to uair, or fair to uair become things, that will buff his KO's immensely), but I don't like the idea of combos that rely on cancels.

Fox's Shine does IMO have a fairly unhealthy autocombo addition to his meta, but a lot of Shine combos do depend on weight and falling speed.

JC Toothbrush sounds nice to me as of now. His grab is a bit too slow in start up to be a massive threat to shields (OoS options are just faster) and having these other moves definetly would help him.
Another pojnt: I seriously have no idea how to play against DK. Lives long as f***, kills me way to eraly, mas more range and armor and everything. Chibi iirc has two moves that he ca use for distance: FSmash and Lazor, and they both dont stop DK or are just plain out punishable. Marth and Lloyd are a pain in the a** as well, but thats another topic.
