Part of it is the fact that the game got cancelled after so much fan support. If it had gone through, it might have actually been forgotten after some time.

was megaman 3 always that hard or do i just suck

3 is kinda hard, what levels are you having trouble on?

mostly the bosses platforming is kind of not that hard

and i never got to willys castle

all the bosses in 3 have a pattern that once you work out you'll either be able to avoid getting hit entirely, or at least get hit infrequently enough that you can whittle their health down before they get yours. shadow man and needle man are hard f*** even when you get their pattern down so maybe leave them till last. top man is super easy. don't forget sliding is faster than walking normally, so use that to avoid some of their attacks.

mega man is amazing and talking about mega man is fun

if you still can't get too far into it maybe check out 5, it's usually considered the easiest in the classic series and it's a good starting point

Oh lord, the memories I have of 3. It's still my favorite, maybe just because it was my first....

s*** now I'm tempted to get a Mega Man avatar because I'll end up returning to my Mega Man phase talking about this stuff again

3 is my favourite and wasn't my first, I genuinely think it's the overall most well designed and fun of the classic series.
but i'm also biased kinda because i don't like the charge shot very much for various reasons, so that stops me from enjoying 4 onwards as much as i probably should be able to.

for some reason i really enjoy the x series (4 to 6 ) more than the classic series but thats just me

i can see the appeal in the classic series thats why im trying to finish all the classic megaman games that i never finished ( i only finished 2 :/ )

i finished 1-3 and stopped after that gotta finish 4 and up

you're missing out to not play 5 especially. great game, really creative stages and some neat weapons.

3 was very cool (curse you shadow man)

i also enjoyed a lot the X games, those were neat
