The spiky-eared Pichu is cool, but I'm a little concerned that it might not stand out next to the regular Pichu...

I'm wary of gimmicky costumes for that reason. The Yoshi and the Wool Yoshi outfits are probably gonna be an issue, especially in handheld.

I feel like it's fine because of the tags above the characters. Wouldn't be surprised if some tournaments banned them anyway though lol

I think it's sad most competitors are shaming away fountain of dreams because with hazard off it's a battlefield clone. I couldn't wait to see that stage get played on in tournaments but I guess not now. Can someone explain why we can't switch between hazards on and off for tournaments?

backing out of the menu takes time

only a few seconds per but that adds up like wild over a whole tournament

not to mention the headache that will come from having to turn it back on. sooner or later someone would pick something like kalos league and get f*** because they forgot to turn the hazards back off

... Is the hazard-switch, like, not in the stage menu itself like the Omega mode?

no it's in the settings menu where items are at

which is silly, since battlefield and omega forms can be selected from the stage select.

I dont think they see hazardless stages as a separate form of the stage like we do

And it wouldn't be an issue if moving platforms weren't considered "Stage Hazards"

yeah their inconsistent definition of what a hazard is an be a bit annoying

I was hoping that things like touring stages would remain at one destination, and I understand them not seeing that as a hazard, but why do some tour stages just not land & others still operate normally? Why are some moving platforms stopped and others left alone?

It's still a very good feature but it could use some major tweaks once people start modding Ultimate / once Smash 6 comes out

108 stages and T.Os are only showing 8 to 10 tournament legal stages. Wish the hazard switch was better.
