ryu would make as much sense as ridly i mean his up b would be crap, his side b would be i don't know,
down b cheap, neutral b spammable most likely and what would his combo even be you can't do neutral combos in street fighter i mean you can't stand there and not do the same attack over and over without pressing like down punch, kick real fast megaman's mega buster would be spammy but he can charge
it making it possibly less spammy like samus status but when not charged fox status

Ugh... please, no Capcom characters. I don't dislike Capcom in general, I just don't want to see them in a smash bros game.
It would ruin the entire game for me.

Megaman is the only Capcom series I can see fitting in Smash Bros. The series can actually be considered a lighter tone to Metroid.

i guess onto something else what do you guys think pit will play like seeing as though in his new game
he has so many new weps how would they make him would he have the palutenas bow or something else

We really shouldn't say so-and-so character would not fit/be cheap because of a moveset you suddenly make up. Who would have guessed Sonic used a spring for his Up-B? Who would have guessed any of the Ice Climbers' moves back in Melee?

I wasn't going with that. I was going with the character as a whole. However, considering Snake was in Brawl it wouldn't surprise me much if Ryu got in.

I think his move-set will change to accommodate his new weapons. Honestly, I see his side-b getting replaced.

I think Ryu would actually fit into Super Smash Brothers quite nicely, although Megaman is a much better choice. I see those two as the only real eligible canidates for the Super Smash Brothers 3rd Party Election Debate 2012. And Taro/Fury, how can you say Ryu would be like Ridley? Ryu is the size of most of SSB'S fighters and was actually in a fighting game. That's actually like comparing Rayquaza to Sonic, becuase nobody thought Sonic would fit into Smash Brothers, but they put him in anyway and stapled a bunch of moves from his fighting game, and if Ryu does actually get in, that's what they would do for him too. Oh, and to you, Prince Marth, Sakurai actually said there's a chance for a Capcom character in SSB4, that's why we're talking about this stuff.

the only weapon class i can see not really used is orbitars it be kinda weird to use in a fighting game
