I'm still confused on this...

With the game being split into two, do you still have a choice of which path in either version or does it choose for you depending on the version?
If it's the former then why did it require two games

then you play the path of whichever version you bought

if you got the digital version of the game then you have to select one and then download the rest of the game (lmao)

if you've bought the edition that comes with both or you've bought the other side as DLC then you get to chose

i dont mind that much for the repeat content since fire emblem games are generally pretty long and generally speaking the first 8 chapters is like nothing compared to the full size of the game, but at the same time, i dont really want to play the same 8 chapters 3 times lol

Chapters 0-5 are the same.
Chapter 6 is very similar in Birthright and Conquest, it's just in Conquest, there's an extra character to fight (Yukimura).
I don't know what chapter 6 is like in Revelation though.

Apparently. Honestly if the special edition came with both I would've preferred it come with them both separately... I'm mixed on this.

Part of me likes the idea of it being one cart, but at the same time if the SE comes with both then why not just package both, why bother making a single cart?

This also proves that there was absolutely no point in making them separate if they both could fit on the same cart.

If the 3rd campaign is also in the cartridge then they're just trying to get the money back for all the other fried emblem game that didn't meet their expectations by drinking the money out of their fans who wanted another game. It's not a problem if the games by themselves are the size or bigger than Awakening but hotdayum, Intelligent system calm your tits.

Maybe we can raise units and ship them with other players' for super strong juggernauts that take no damage and oneshot final bosses.

It's actually super trash now knowing that they can fit them all onto one cart. I just kinda figured the size of the games justified them being separate, but now it's just obviously a buy em all scheme which feels really insulting. Think about how sick it would have been to just have a fire emblem game where you get a huge path choice like this early on, and then maybe you unlock the third 'secrets' path on your second playthrough. Instead we have this confusing expensive mess.
