So, under DJW request, I'm going to make a full ISO on Geno and come with a read based on it.
I'm ignoring all posts before this one because none of them appear relevant. Before this particular post, Geno had been away of the game.
His first relevant post appears at Sept 22th.
Here Geno plays the safe card, in an action any reasonable town player would do. Nothing to be surprised of, but still good.
I did a first answer to this post, but now I can improve it:
Terra can put you as scum precisely because you did that. If you were scum, after a while of inactivity, putting yourself on the town spotlight by your last post (which again, is something any reasonable town player would do) is a well-crafted way to avoid possible scum reads so early, and still keeping the pressure on Terra.
However, I will agree that, at the time, it looked as a desperate maneuver from him, even as OMGUS if you want to think of it that way.
Something that has appeared to me as unusual is the following.
This post is from sept 30, 2:58 PM
Notice how Geno appears unnattached to the idea of a Terra lynch.
Inmediatly after (Sept 30, 6:00 PM)
Now Geno appears willing to hammer a lynch he wasn't particularly attached to just hours before.
AND NOW FOR THE MOST NOTORIOUS CHANGE
Here Geno pulls a reverse Thomas. Thomas situation was to be part of Terra's lynch Day 1 and then blaming us for it. Geno, on the other hand, barely participates on Terra's lynch (and he doesn't act really convinced on it) and then later pulls the whole list of reasons to defend that particular lynch. While I don't particularly disagree with any of them, his overly open defense to the lynch of a player which ended up being town is something that shakes me a bit.
In fact, at that particular point, he defends my vote threat on Terra, when that's than obviously stupid idea (voting a confirmed town is retarded, you know).
Then the whole Vanellope affair happens, and I'm curious. Geno keeps the pressure on him because of a mistake, while he doesn't admit his own mistake (hammering Terra) or mine (threating to vote Terra once confirmed). This appears unnatural, and almost biased against Vanellope (it's not like he doesn't deserve it anyways...)
With all those posts, I'd like to keep thinking he's town, but I'm not sure. However, everything I've said so far is only circumstancial evidence and nothing which proves him scum. As such, I'm modifying my Geno read:
Null, leaning towards scumPS:
THIS. From now on I'm treating any self vote as a scumslip. This includes you Shoop.
