This guy reminds me of someone... Oh yeah! The old me! I wasn't able to take s*** from people like Vii and proton, I was all like "OH NO YOU DIDN'T"
And I got so pissed at them for saying spriting was s***, (Even though it was back then) Now it's good and I can also take critz, Oh, and Mr. Arel, if you do what you just did to me to other members (Especially Vii) You will get nowhere with you're spriting.

Just a tip alright?

But nothing you said was good critisicm.
You never explained to me how to fix the sprites.
Also you have to be an experienced spriter, so yeah.

:hmph: Ironic isn't it. you made the girl hands look like crap I made a thread to make better hands for sprite character and no one responed. will this cycle continue of making sprite character hands look bad. is the face, body, arms, legs, and feet people pay attention to. that last 5% percent is whats missing with sprites here. sorry for the rant.


farmer john shading is off, the hand on the girl look bad, and she need more detail because of the head.

The long strands of hair on the sides are bending forward, which is only correct if either 1) there is wind, but it only affects those strands, 2) those strands are affected by some type of reverse gravity, or 3) there is a balloon full of static electricity in front of her.
I suppose the one on the left is bent because of the shoulder, but even then the curve isn't quite right.

Her right shoe is off. It should be pointing forward, judging from the position the knee is in.

I'd consider adding a shade of highlight on the shirt too. Although it's not in the style, I feel that the sprites become quite flat after the shadows.

These are really quite impressive though. Looking forward to more work.
