The car produces 1000 horse power, 1200 if you tune it differently, according to the maker. Top speed is 400 kilometers/hour, which makes it near the same speed as the Bugatti Veyron EB16.4, Chrysler ME Four-Twelve, Koenigsegg CCXR, Melling Hellcat,SSC Ultimate Aero TT and Weber Faster One.

Some of those are production cars.

Of course, then there's the Vampire, the car that nearly killed the hamster, while driving at 500 kilometers/hour (314 mph).

What kind of petrol head are you?

Besides the SSC Ultimate Aero TT is the fastest production car on the road today.

Sorry, thought it was 1400, but looked again, it was actualyl 1 and 2. Sorry ^^ But doesn't this car beat the buggati? This car has a normal engine. The buggati, if i'm right, has a supercharger, which makes it a tuned car because superchargers doesn't normally come with normal tuned engines.(i dunno if this is right though, forgive me if i'm wrong. I'm actually pretty bad at these stuff.)

Sirius has two turbochargers, Veyron has four. Officially, the Veyron was the fastest, until that bastard SSC Ultimate Aero TT came along. Rely on the Americans to provide brute strength in a straight line.

Well, technically, the SSC only broke the Bugatti's top speed record if I recall.

Here's a good one.

Caparo T1. Weighs 470kg, with an estimated top speed of 330km/h.

If you thought that was lightweight, google the 50 kg car.

Meh, Hakker, I think the DB9 is, as Jeremy Clarkson put it, just like pornagraphy. Nice to look at, but no good in performance. The Veyron is a sick car, but not my cup of tea. Give me a Ferrari or a Porsche GT3 and I'm good to go. And one of my favorites ever, a Mazda RX-8. And a Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Those cars are sick.

It's ugly because they went all out on performance. That shape is very aerodynamic, enabling for speed.

But also proper downforce too I reckon.

Yeah. On the website, they claim:

"A power-to-weight ratio double the Bugatti Veyron’s, and so much downforce you will be able to drive it upside down in a tunnel at 150mph".

That'd have to involve them tuning it to maximum downforce settings, though...

Nope. They're just confident it can.

It'd be hard to convince someone to get into a car and drive on the roof of a tunnel xD
How would you get the car up on the roof, anyway?
