Under the theory that dinosaurs existed, wouldn't you say that animals adapted to the environment of Pangaea(sp?) to the world it is today? So if they could adapt earlier, and now they have more knowledge (thousands of years of it...) they would still be able to adapt. AND, they are adapting now with pollution and global warming. Although, killing them off to survive is quite drastic. If things go endangered, people tend to protect them (look at bald eagle, pretty sure it's endangered...) _________________
