Do you have to be approved for expansions or can you just create one and use it in the game? And if you need to get approved, will McLeod program the character? And Do you need to download the expansions or do they come with updates? Thanks!

Yello, im darkwaluigi72, welcome to the forums...
And the expansions can be dwnloaded after the game is completely done 100%.
And submit your sprites and animations at the official ssf2 expansions site, make sure nobody is doin that character before you start...
And it's up to the devs to approve your character...
Ex: Waluigi, Dr. Mario, Boo, Son Goku are all taken, check the site for more info.
