So the new character looks like Super Saiyan God Gohan judging from the scans. He can use the Kamehameha and Special Beam cannon so take that as you will
It also looks like Time Patrol Trunks from Dragon Ball Online will have a role in the game...and 2v2 is available

Haven't bought a DBZ game since Budokai HD and before that Tenkaichi 3. I loved Budokai 3 and its one of my favourite fighting games, shame there was no online mode.

This looks promising as its being made by Dimps who made the Budokai series but I do wonder if they'll take a risk and go with an original character for the antagonist ala Dragon Ball Online instead of reusing a well known for such as Frieza or Cell.

But saying that, I'm hoping for SSJ Bardock to be in the character list as I didn't bother with Battle of Z. Also Garlic Jr would be pretty nice just because he's underappreciated.

Recently been revealed the mysterious figure is a custom character. They're apparently going to give us a wide range of looks, moves and races including Saiyan, Majin and Namekian. Fingers crossed for Freiza's race, Cell's and even Androids.

The screenshots they've shown look great.

What race would you guys pick if given the choice?
