Would it be a bad idea to create a public "poor sport" list?

For example, I'm battling someone 1v1 and winning, no lag issues. Then subsequently he/she quits because he/she is losing.

I don't want to have to keep playing with people like that and I would eventually forget their names. I imagine soon we will be able to have lobby settings to lock slots and make it 1v1, kick people, etc.

Having this would be nice. If not then I understand and will just make my own personal banlist.

Couldn't you be seen as a poor sport for publicly shaming these players?

The topic would be useful, but it is more than likely not going to work.

This thread is likely to get names on it based on if a player is in a bad mood or not about fighting someone. Ex: I lost to spastic's Kirby in Lunar Core. I'm salty about it so I'm gonna declare him a poor sport because he spent the match running away and refusing to face me. He proceeded to battle me 2 more times with Naruto and Megaman using gimmicky attacks only.

Although he irritated me with that shi- uh obnoxious style of play, that's just how some people play. I was salty about him at the time, but it's just a game and it was my problem that I wasn't able to beat him. But if you asked me how I felt about it right after losing the 1st fight, I'd have made 20 posts about how he belongs on this list.

My point is this this thread is gonna get hijacked by angry people.

This thread is def getting locked. You can talk all you want about which players are great but no threads about bad players. This isn't the first thread that has tried this.

I actually made a thread like this come to think of it. It was the 1st thread I ever made on a forum. Locked before I could even get a post on it. The forum mod saying "no" before locking does not count.
