i really like the attempt at bringing smashbros mechanics into a whole new game, i think a lot of people are scared to do something so similar when it could really just turn into its own genre if more developers were brave enough. i also think no ledge grabs is super interesting, and i'm split 50/50 on whether or not i like everyone having a parry at any time, but again i think it's ballsy and i'm curious to see how the metagame develops. i really like dividing up the characters into the 4 traditional elements and the creative ways they work. like one of the fire dudes being all about smoke and stuff instead of just explicitly fire.

THAT BEING SAID i don't really like... any of the movesets at all lol. i actually really don't like a single one of them! design and balance wise i mean. i think there are too many wacky non intuitive gimmicks for special moves in basically every single one of the movesets and i don't think the normal moves look and feel distinctive enough to give the characters the unique gameplay flavour they really need to have in a game like this.

oh yeah, that's something else about the game especially with Wrastor (in regards to similar moves)

all of his normal aerials feel the same, which are probably the moves you'll use most often with him

Yknow when i first heard of this game, and I saw how it played, i was gonna be like "WTF THIS IS JUST LIKE SMASH BROS BLARGH" but then I saw this was inspired by smash bros. Saving me the trouble of looking stupid on the forums once again. (Not like I haven't.)

He really isn't though. They tweaked his tower a tad if I remember correctly. Even with it all you have to do is destroy it and it leaves Kragg open for attack.

He seems really solid but generally heavy/big characters are combo food, then again his moveset seems kinda broken. He can make neutral a b**** with his ice that he lays, he can freeze you if you're on it and im assuming the higher percent you are the longer you're frozen. Still its an easy kill confirm, also what the hell is that command grab?

ELEMENTAL POWERS

HOME ICE ADVANTAGE: Etalus can use his Forward Special or Forward Tilt to freeze the ground beneath him in order to slide across on the icy surface.

ARMORED UP: When standing on ice, Etalus can use his Neutral Special to absorb the ice and create ice armor around his body.

AVALANCHE: Etalus can use his Down Special to shatter all nearby ice, instantly freezing any enemies who are standing on it.
