Alright, I finished it. Ahem... I would scream, but I can't really get that across correctly online. To sum it up: I came. This movie totally makes up for the missing half of season 2. It was engaging, the story was unfathomably complex and interesting, the characters were spot on, the concept was enthralling, the pacing was fresh, it was absolutely perfect in every way.

Personally, I can't get enough of alternate time line plots. At first, the ending confused the hell out of me. However, after watching it over again, I have deciphered every single detail leading up to the present day. This. Movie. Is. f***. Awesome. You wouldn't understand it if you've never seen the show, but it's damn worth getting into the series just to see this masterpiece of cinema and appreciate it in full. Aaaahhhh, now I understand what it's like to see our world as so friggin' boring.

Kyon himself said it, he had fun going along with Haruhi's antics. Only an idiot wouldn't.

This reminds me how much I should watch The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
Which reminds me how much I should finish off One Piece.
I really need to watch anime again.

The Disappearance really was the best book in the series. Funny how the books involving Yuki and Kyon seem to be better than every other except the the aforementioned.
