I was lukewarm about Luffy's reveal when it happened even though I watched a lot of One Piece this ytry, but I can't wait to try.

No problem, steven.
I personally think Luffy will struggle hard against projectiles, specially high-priority ones. I'm saying this because I don't think his limbs attacks are disjointed and projectiles would be a counter to his high ranged attacks. Same would apply to the swordfighters/disjointed attacks chars. I have nothing against Luffy, but the "he's the only character that can fit his playstyle" thing is bullcrap.
