Most children have wacky imaginations, and will often misinterpret things they see and hear, resulting in their minds making up myths that they then believe in. What were some misapprehensions of yours as a kid?

I always thought that to make chicken flavouring/salt one would have to grind a bunch of chickens into dust and then sprinkle said dust over your chips and crisps. I also thought that 'NSFW' stood for 'New South f*** Wales'

I thought women magically got pregnant immediately after marriage.

I thought swimming people had fish powers. (I was REALLY little)

I believed that as I grew older, I was going to start developing breasts, despite being male.

I also thought I would soon develop the ability to conceive and bear children.

This frightened me, because even as a child, I knew pregnancy was a painful procedure.
